2)  Magnolia Gardens Plantation (3:15-7:15pm, $39 per person).  Founded in 1676 by the Drayton family, Magnolia Plantation has survived three centuries and witnessed the history of the nation unfold before it from the American Revolution through the Civil War and beyond. It is the oldest public tourist site in the Lowcountry, and the oldest public gardens in America, opening its doors to visitors in 1870 to view the thousands of beautiful flowers and plants in its famous gardens.

This excursion includes transportation to/from the gardens (30 minutes outside the city), as well as admission, which grants access to the orientation theatre and gift shop.  Those who wish to purchase a house tour may do so onsite for an additional cost of $8.  There is a 20 person minimum pick up required for this tour.  If the minimum is not met, the tour will be cancelled and a refund will be provided.
