Getting to Amsterdam
The Schiphol Amsterdam International Airport (AMS) is the Netherlands main international airport, located 20 minutes southwest of Amsterdam.
Book your flight with SkyTeam, NCM's official alliance network, to gain access to flight discounts and to earn miles with any SkyTeam airline loyalty program.
Getting around Amsterdam
Once you arrive in Amsterdam, there are a number of transportation options including taxis, car rentals, buses, public transportation and private limousines. The average cost of a taxi from the airport to the HQ Hotel, The NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, is +/- €50. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, where, walking, taxis, and the public transportation system are more than enough to get you around. If your pre or post-conference plans take you outside the Metro Area limits, renting a car may be something to consider. View info on Car Rentals or Other Transportation Options.
GVB Transit Card
You will have the option to pre-order a GVB transit card when you register for the meeting, and you can collect your transit card at the registration desk. The GVB day or multiple day card entitles you to unlimited travel around Amsterdam - day and night - on bus, tram and metro, for the number of hours that best suits your plans. Please note: these tickets are only valid in GVB metros, trams, and buses, not valid in the regional buses of Connexxion and EBS or on the train.
